National Schoolboy Boxing Champion in 1960 and 1961. Senior ABA Finalist in 1968. Several years as a Professional Boxer. Attended the 1984 Paralympic Games held in New York, USA as a GB Coach. Officiated in 1988 Seoul. 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney, 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games as the Technical Delegate for the organising and running of the Cerebral Palsy 7 aside Football competition. In 20o9 was awarded the Paralympic Order. At the 2012 London Paralympic Games was a medal presenter.
Worked for the City of Bristol Recreation department for 20 years.
